ADDICTED underwear, made in Barcelona and worn in Prague
Nothing ADDICTED has made in Barcelona since 2009, from swim briefs to underwear, was ever meant to go unnoticed. Prague, as it turns out, is a very good place to be seen in summer.
A swimwear label first
ADDICTED started out in 2009 with swimwear, a few years after the same Barcelona family business had launched ES Collection. ADDICTED swimwear still covers everything from a close-fitting brief to a longer short. In Prague it has a natural home at Žluté lázně in Podolí, where grass and sand beaches line the Vltava and an afternoon swim easily turns into the evening.
What happens on the inside
Some ADDICTED underwear comes with a little help built in, and the names are not interchangeable. Push Up gives a lift from within, Pack Up relies on an insert for extra fullness, and Molded is shaped into the front itself, so there is no centre seam at all. Push Up even comes as a jockstrap, a cut first designed as sports kit in 1874 and taken up by the gay community in the 1950s and 1960s.
Colour for an August Saturday
Out of the water, the colour carries on in tank tops, T-shirts, shorts and sportswear. Prague’s big day came on 8 August 2026, when the Prague Pride parade set off from Wenceslas Square and, instead of ending at Letná as in earlier years, finished on the island of Štvanice. Tens of thousands took part, and on a day like that a bright tank top and denim shorts are enough.
