ES Collection swimwear and the summer around it
ES Collection was born in Barcelona in 2006, founded by Eduardo Suñer and Joan Busquets, and like most good summers it started with a pair of swim trunks. Underwear, casual clothes, sportswear, footwear and accessories followed, all with the same long Mediterranean season in mind.
THE BRAND
It all began at the water’s edge
Swimwear is still the heart of the brand, and its natural habitat is the coast. Sitges, 35 kilometres from Barcelona and around 40 minutes away by train, has been one of Europe’s classic gay resorts since the 1970s, and after one afternoon on its beaches these swim briefs need no description.
The pieces are designed to go together. The colour of the trunks is echoed in a shirt, the knit of a top in a pair of shorts, so one beach bag covers the whole day. Behind the brand is Denier, a Catalan family textile company founded in Barcelona in 1958.
WARDROBE
Beach in the morning, dinner in town
A good summer outfit never means wearing everything at once. One strong texture, one plain base and the right amount of skin usually do the job, whether the day starts in Sitges or on the banks of the Isar in Munich.
Underwear
ES Collection underwear for ordinary days and less ordinary nights, with close cuts and fronts that hold their shape.
Casual

CIRCUIT FESTIVAL
The summer Barcelona belonged to Circuit
From 1 to 9 August 2026, Circuit Festival brought thousands of men from all over the world to Barcelona for pool parties and nights that ended in daylight. ES Collection designed the festival’s official outfit, a tank and shorts you could spot from across the pool and still wear on the flight home.

Some fabrics you feel before you see
Mesh, shine and open knit can share a suitcase, as long as each outfit is built around just one of them. On a hot August afternoon that might be an airy knit, and at night a fitted top with a little sheen.
