From Miami Beach to Circuit Festival 2026 in Barcelona
Miami and Barcelona have more in common than the sea. In both cities a beach day runs straight into the night, and the night rarely ends before sunrise. ES Collection’s Miami swimwear and casual pieces follow that rhythm, and so does the official outfit of Circuit Festival 2026.
THE BEACH
On Miami Beach the gay stretch of sand lies around 12th Street, just off Ocean Drive. Since 2022 a lifeguard tower painted in the six stripes of the rainbow flag has marked the spot, and it is still the easiest place to meet your friends on a busy Sunday.
Brief or trunk, whatever your mood
Everyone on that beach decides for themselves how much to show. Some days call for a trunk, others for an orange brief that can be spotted from the lifeguard tower, and ES Collection’s swimwear has both in the same colour. Neither is the better choice. It depends on the day, and on who is lying on the next towel.
Stripes are the other way to stand out. A striped blue brief is as loud as a print gets without adding any fabric, and it looks just as right at a pool party as on the sand. Every April the beach turns into a party anyway, when Miami Beach Pride fills Lummus Park and Ocean Drive, right by 12th Street.
When the beach day turns into dinner
In Miami the day does not end on the sand. After sunset the city moves up to its rooftops and out onto the terraces of South Beach, and swimwear alone is no longer enough. A burgundy short-sleeved shirt or a sleeveless top in the same colour, with pale trousers or shorts, belongs to exactly that hour.
A collar and sleeves for dinner, a sleeveless top for the bar afterwards. That choice says more about the evening than any extra colour could, and with simple trousers it sets the tone on its own. When the night moves somewhere louder, denim takes over.
Nine nights of Circuit Festival 2026
In Germany, August is still CSD season. In Barcelona it belongs to Circuit Festival, which in 2026 ran from 1 to 9 August with twelve parties in nine days. There was the opening night at Input, a whole Tuesday at the Illa Fantasia water park in Vilassar de Dalt, the main event at Fira Barcelona Gran Via and, on the last Sunday, La Leche at Razzmatazz.
ES Collection, a Barcelona brand since 2006, made the festival’s official 2026 outfit, a black tank and black shorts carrying the Circuit graphic. Together they are unmistakably the festival. Worn separately they keep going long after August, the tank on the beach and the shorts on a summer weekend. For the water park day the bag needed something else, a piece of swimwear bright enough to be spotted from the top of a slide.
