ADDICTED underwear, from Barcelona to the Vistula

ADDICTED has made men’s underwear and swimwear in Barcelona since 2009, for men who would rather be noticed than blend in. Warsaw gives that attitude a proper summer, with sand on the banks of the Vistula, long evenings by the water and a June Saturday when the city centre belongs to the parade.

It all started with swimwear

The first ADDICTED pieces were swimwear, launched in 2009 by the Barcelona family business that had started ES Collection a few years earlier. The swim range still runs from close-fitting briefs to roomier shorts. ADDICTED swimwear looks just as much at home on Poniatówka, the beach on the right bank by the Poniatowski Bridge, as it does on the Mediterranean. The beach sits right in the middle of the city, and in summer there are free deck chairs to borrow on the sand.

From the jockstrap to Push Up

The jockstrap was first designed in 1874 for a Chicago sporting goods company, with bicycle jockeys on the bumpy streets of Boston in mind. In the 1950s and 1960s the gay community claimed it as its own. ADDICTED still makes it in mesh and sportier versions, and as a push up jockstrap with a little lift built in. Elsewhere in the range, Pack Up adds a removable insert for a fuller front, and Molded shapes the front itself, with no seam down the middle.

Colour for a June Saturday

ADDICTED also makes the tank top, the T-shirt and the shorts for the hours after the beach, in the same strong colours. Warsaw had a good reason to wear colour on 13 June 2026, when thousands marched through the city in the 25th Equality Parade, a quarter of a century after the first one in 2001. A bright tank top and a favourite pair of jeans are about all you need on a day like that.
